With the blessings of Sant Attar Singh ji Maharaj-A Saint and great visionary, who had strong belief, dedication and determination to channelize the young generation towards education along with spirituality. Sant Attar Singh Trust headed by member of Parliament and former union minister for Youth Affairs & Sports S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and the Akal College Council with its president Capt. Dr. B.S. Punia and Secretary S. Jaswant Singh Khaira tarted Akal College of Physical Education in the year 2006, with a vision to produce committed and quality Physical Education teachers.
Akal College of Physical Education under the able and dynamic leadership of its Principal and a team of dedicated staff, organically grown to a productive human resource institution of northern India. Akal College of Physical Education within a period of eight years has brought laurels in the field of Academics, Sports and co-curricular activities.
