Akal College of Physical Education is one of the largest and Premier Teacher Training institute in Northern India with strength of more than 600 students on its roll from different parts of the country. It has the privilege to have healthy and harmonious ambience, able guidance and liberal approach of elite college management. The Nature of training that one undergoes in this teacher training institute transform students not only as good physical education teachers but also as good citizens. This institution has played a cascading role in the career and personality of innumerable students who have brought laurel to this college, state and country. The college can boast of spacious classrooms, green lush play grounds and well-maintained hostel for boys and girls. The library of college is stacked with the latest edition of books, magazines and journals.
